Now maybe this is not something you've ever really contemplated before. Perhaps you've been bumbling along on autopilot mode just fine. I know that was certainly my life for a few years.

Or maybe you do have an idea of your best life but you don't know how to get there.

And naturally your best life looks different to mine. My idea of an extraordinary living may be very different to yours. Ultimately, an exceptional life is living on your terms, whatever that may look like to you. But no matter your definition there are a few simple life hacks that have been widely researched and scientifically proven to get you living your best life.



Countless research has been conducted into the benefits of adopting a practice of gratitude. Taking a few moments each day to acknowledge the things you are thankful of can transform your emotional and mental wellbeing as well as enhance your relationships. So the next time you feel like complaining about something, see if you can focus your energy on all the things you do have. This is the one of the simplest ways to improve your life satisfaction.

Forgiveness is not condoning someone else's actions, it is recognising that your wellbeing is more important.



This itself can be broken down into several areas such as diet, self-care, education, social life, exercise - but the essence of nourish is looking at your life as a whole and seeing which aspect would benefit from nourishment. Do you need to look after your finances more? Would you benefit from further training? Can you adjust your diet to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables? Are you meditating or engaging in mindful practices? How can you find ways to move more in your day? Attending to these elements in your life will significantly increase the way you feel about yourself, helping you to live your best life, everyday.


Take Control of Your Time

This is your one life, how can you make the most of it? Have you found balance between your work and home life? Can you spend more time with the people you love? Can you carve out the time to engage in the activities you love? If you spend all your time doing the things you feel you ought or should be doing, you will never find life extraordinary. Let yourself know that you are worthy or an exceptional life but creating time to do the things that truly light you up inside!
