Social anxiety is normal. Everybody feels it now and then. But for many, Social Anxiety is a debilitating daily battle that prevents them from living the life they seek and deserve. Social Anxiety varies from person to person and can manifest itself in many ways causing people to suffer unreasonably and excessively.
The good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way. Social Anxiety is a learned response and as such it can be re-learned. It is not the experience itself that causes us to feel a certain way, rather the way we interpret that event with our minds. By changing the way we think, we can change the way we feel.
Cognitive Therapy rewires the circuitry of the brain using techniques from CBT, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy and Acceptance Therapy, so that you can effectively and confidently manage your social anxiety in any situation. Through these sessions you will not only lessen your anxiety, but increase your self esteem and confidence allowing you to live a fuller life and enjoy, rather than fear, being your wonderful self.
I don’t use a one-size fits all approach in my work because I believe we are all totally unique. You are one-in-8-billion. There is no other like you. So I always tailor my approach sensitively and intuitively to you. The process is collaborative, fast and effective with results that will positively impact many areas of your life.
Sessions can be held either at The Light Centre, Monument or at my home in Fulham.
